Dr. Tomer Langberg used state-of-the-art electrophysiological, imaging, and genetic methods to test how electrical spikes in neurons trigger memory formation and how cortisol and related molecules modulate this process.
Dr. Lee Harten aimed to understand time perception and future planning in non-human mammals. Understanding how animals perceive time is critical to understand human evolution and mammalian cognition.
