Research work

The PBLab is a multidisciplinary environment focused on the study of neurovascular coupling and the structure of the neurovascular unit. The laboratory implements and develops cutting-edge imaging tools based on multi-photon microscopy geared to obtain fast neuronal and vascular dynamics. In addition, the laboratory studies different pathologies involving brain vasculature, such as hypertension and cortical microinfarcts.
