Research Interests

Research topic: Understanding the physiology and structure of the neurovascular interface under normal and pathological conditions.

Research methods: In vivo, awake multi-photon imaging. High-content histology and data mining. Multi-modal hemodynamic imaging. Multi-electrode array recording.

Main projects in the lab include:

  • Quantitative description of the structure-function relationship behind the neurovascular interface
  • Degeneration of the neurovascular interface and its role in neurodegenerative diseases
  • Population coding of integrative sensory inputs
